Alecto, holding the scales of justice and a shield

Alecto takes its name from the Greek goddess known as "the unceasing one" — a force that refused to let wrongdoing disappear without consequence.

Our story

We helped change the law. Now we're building the infrastructure to make it work.

01

The problem became personal.

Our founder reviewed abuse reports inside a tech platform. Then she was deepfaked into pornography — and spent years retelling the same story while institutions restarted her case from zero.

02

The system was broken.

Messy, unverifiable reports. Overloaded systems. No common standard. No institution trusting another's work.

03

The rules changed.

She spearheaded the TAKE IT DOWN Act to federal passage. Platform response is now a legal obligation with a deadline.

Pinterest lists Alecto on its official compliance page — alongside StopNCII and NCMEC.

04

Now: build the infrastructure.

Alecto is the infrastructure: verify a live human, compile a trusted record, route it to everyone who can act.
